A call for love

I call, cry out,

try reaching out,

for your love,

but I grasp into the darkness,

for you,

falling over upon my mistakes,

reminded,

you have moved on.

I try to call,

to hear your voice,

wanting to hold your hand,

embrace your warm love,

cuddle you for just one more time.

I keep trying to call,

praying for your answer,

to pickup,

for you to say it’s okay,

ask what’s going wrong,

to say we will be okay,

but I know it’s just all over.

I sit here alone,

wanting you to be by my side,

knowing you have another,

that’s not me.

The thought,

the ache,

of hearing you have moved on,

to another fling,

an easy way out,

brings pain to my heart.

How can you so easily move on,

forget me,

move on from our love?

I cry,

call,

for your love,

hoping you will reply,

respond and love me again.
